42-53 SilverSpoons – Immersion
Ah it’s been quite a while since my last post on SilverSpoon. Nearly 2 weeks! but do excuse me for the lack of posts on SilverSpoon, as I’ve made it up with some other Japanese content. I’m sure everyone is sick of hearing about this but nothing “new” or “exciting” has changed as of yet. But I can tell you, we are now in stage 2 out of 6 spoonfuls to our fluency in Japanese! You are probably wondering what I’m talking about. I’ll try my best explaining it, without giving out too much.
Tainaka Ritsu Alter Ver. (1/8 PVC Figure) review
Today I bring you a review on Tainaka Ritsu, the drummer from Houkago Tea Time and the series, K-ON . She retailed for 8,820 yen at Hobbysearch and was released in Mid May, 2011 by Alter. This lovely figure is sculpted by Senu Tanaka, who also did a wonderful job on both Nakano Azusa and Hirasawa Yui. She’s the last K-ON figure to be released, to complete your Alter K-ON collection!
Typical day in my life and my immersion environment
Today’s post will be about how my typical day usually goes. I was planning to draw up some circle to illustrate this but that didn’t prove to be successful^^” Instead I’ll just type it out like a timetable.
Sorry to say this again but nothing has really changed as of yet, in regards to what we do and I think it will be like this for a while. The only difference is that more “serving suggestions” and more resting.
Today, I’d just like to write about how I’ve interpreted what SilverSpoon so far and this could change in the future^^”:
Today I’ll be writing up a review on Saber Alter – Vortigern, a 1/7 PVC figure by the lovely people over at Good Smile Company. This figure was released around Mid May of 2011 and retailed for a price at 8,400 yen at HobbySearch. Saber Alter Vortigern comes from the series Fate /Stay Night as most of you probably know and stands about 175mm in height. Please be aware that there will be a lot of pictures^^” Ver1 has less

Kanji Kanji Kanji – How many do you know?
Just a quick random post today about Kanji. I’ve been doing Kanji for about nearly 9 months or so now and am using Heisig RTK (Remember the Kanji) . I’d just like to show some pictures of Kanji I’ve written (not to brag, althoughI feel like it a bit XD) I’ve only started writing it these past 2 months to help remember them somehow^^” My Kanji writing is messy but I can make it pretty when I want to^^”! I still don’t remember all the 2000+ Jōyō kanji. I probably know only around 500-700? not really sure^^” For those of you who don’t know what Jōyō kanji is, here’s a little explanation from Wikipedia.
Days 27-33 – AJATT SS
It’s been quite a while since my last post on AJATT SS. Same reason as last time, nothing new to talk about, so it’s probably better off if I post more quality posts, rather than quantity with the same content.
I previously mentioned that certain days where we add Kanji and some days we don’t. It seems that AJATT SS has a regular routine going on now, where we get the same set of tasks in chronological order, it’s just that the content is different. For example, shadowing different content, browsing diff sites, etc.
22 , 23 , 24 …. 26 steps – AJATT SS
It’s been quite a while since my last post on AJATT SS. Before I begin, I’d just like to clarify some things. AJATT SS is also for those people who have “no clue” what so ever about the language. I think it’s even better if you start this AJATT SS without any prior knowledge about Japanese. Yes, such things as Kanji may be daunting but after a while, you and the Kanji will be walking together, hand in hand, best of friends!
Katsura Hinagiku by Max Factory Review
Hello~! Today I bring you a review on the ever so lovable tsundere, Katsura Hinagiku from the series, Hayate no Gotoku. She was released in late December of 2010 and retailed for the price of 3,258 yen by Max Factory. So wow, I left her about 5 months before opening her. Yes I know, I’m bad but I’ve been busy with studies, job hunting, etc^^”. Please excuse the crummy pictures as the nendoroid made me angry, which I will kindly talk about in this review.
